MY APPROACH

I use evidence-based strategies for results. My therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques. My goal is to help you feel understood, build resilience, and move forward with confidence.
I usually work with people in a short-term, solution-focused approach. This is designed to empower you with tools and strategies to manage and overcome the challenges you’re facing as you navigate your medical condition or other problems.
The first session or two will be spent getting to know you. I’ll conduct an intake interview so that I have a full picture of what is happening in your life. At the end of this assessment, I’ll explain how I believe I can help you and what therapy might entail. We will then work together on creating some therapy goals and get started with psychotherapy sessions.
